Baritone Bryan McNeil was most recently seen as Pooh Bah in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado with Cape Cod Opera and Opera by the Bay.  Mr. McNeil is a founding member of Boston Academy of Music (now OperaBoston). Some of his roles there include the Painter Monk in Le jongleur de Notre Dame, Tom in Un ballo in maschera Randy Curtis in Kurt Weill’s Lady in the Dark, and Friar Tuck in the American premiere of Sir Arthur Sullivan’s grand opera Ivanhoe. He also performed with Boston Lyric Opera, Opera New England, Michigan Opera Theatre, Salisbury Lyric Opera and Granite State Opera in such roles as Peter in Hansel and Gretel, Dancairo in Carmen, Schaunard in La boheme and Dr. Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
