Soprano Andrea Ehrenreich has sung throughout the United States and in numerous European countries, as well as India, New Zealand and Hong Kong. During her tour in the South Pacific and Far East as an Artistic Ambassador for the US Information Agency, her concerts prompted enthusiastic critical acclaim. In addition to her active recital schedule, she has attained success in oratorio, opera, and as guest soloist with a variety of well-known musical organizations. She has been featured on live broadcasts of National Public Radio, Voice of America, and others. As a promoter of new music, she has inspired a half dozen different composers to write music expressly for her and has also premiered and/or performed the works of numerous composers.
Ms. Ehrenreich has earned degrees with distinction from Ithaca College and Boston University, as well as a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Miami. Her studies in Germany led to her receiving a Certificate in Lieder. At present she is on the Voice faculty at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts.
